MISSING TAKAPUNA XiAD. INITIALS CUT ON DOOR. Although" search was again made for over five hours yesterday, no traces were found of Terence Ernest Redding, aged 18, who was capsized out of a 14-foot sailing boat, which, was picked Tip off Castor Bay Point by the scow Seagull on Friday afternoon. Mr. H. T. Redding, father of the lad, was out with a launch yesterday in the vicinity of Castor Bay and past Milfordj and a flying boat also participated in the search, but without success. _ Mr. Redding visited Rangitoto, where his son had gone to get a knife; and he found the boy's newly-carved initials on the door of a hut. This morning the Takapuna police searched the vicinity of Castor Bay and Deep Creek.
