ORGANISING SECRETARY.

CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE APPOINTMENT. dominion-wide work. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. From a number of applicants Mr. Graham William Massingham has been appointed by the executive of the New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce to the position of organising secretary. Mr. Massingham will establish contact with every Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand, and he will he present at the,annual conference next month at the Hermitage. He was born at Epsom, England, and is the only son of Mr. George A. Massingham, general manager of Barclay's Bank. He served in Prance from 1914 to 1918, and then was sent to Russia, and later to India, Mesopotamia and Persia. He retired from the Army in 1923 with the rank of major. On his arrival in New Zealand in 1924 he joined the Colonial Motor Company.
