LADY POMARE IN COURT.

PLAINTIFF IN CLAIM FOR DAMAGES. JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the Magistrate's Court to-day Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M., gave judgment in the case in which Lady Miria Pomare claimed £159 10/3 damages from R, L. Swanson, farmer, of Whiteman's Valley, as the result of a motor collision. Defendant for £10 14/0 and the costs of the action. After hearing the evidence the magistrate, gave judgment for defendant, holding that plaintiff had been negligent.
