HARBOUR BOARD CLUE. ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of Auckland Harbour Board Cricket Club, Mr. S. Learning presided over a good muster of members. The annual report stated that the two teams had had a fairly successful year, the A team finishing second on the list. L. Breese again headed the batting averages for the A's, while Dunning, Matthews and Badeley also batted well. Mann, Martin and Matthews headed the bowling. Fop the B team O'Hara topped the batting, with Turbott a good runner-up. Denize and Hayes led the bowlers. A bat, presented by Mr. J. S. Hannigan, for the most improved of the younger players, was handed to W. Matthews, who suitably replied.

The election of officers resulted :—Patron, Mr. M. H. "Wynyard; vice-patrons. Messrs. H. K. Mackenzie, J. S. Hannigan; president, Mr. D. G. Aiken; management committee, Messrs. Breese, Dunning, Marian, T. Bennett, Jaquier, Mann, Saxon; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. Learning.

The club was very fortunate in its choice of vice-presidents, and they were re-elected, with power to add. It was ueciil>?d to again place two teams In the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association's competitions. After members had ex;i~essed their views re the appointing of an official timekeeper, it was decided to urge the association to appoint one.

Seven new members were elected and prospects for the season were jrood. The finances of the club had been severely strained, but this year there would not be the call for large expenditure on gear. Mr. W. Matthews was appointed club captain and Messrs. Mann, Martin mi'l MeConnell were appointed delegates to the association. A vote of thanks was tendered the retiring secretary, Mr. T. Bennett, and treasurer, Mr. H. Bennett, for servicas rendered.
