MR. BACKHAUS AT ROTORUA

SUM 01T £30' MISSING,

HAMILTON, this day.

While in Rotorua the noted musician, Mr. Wilhelm Backhaus, lost £30. On Saturday he put three £10 notes in his dressing case, and when he opened the case to pay his hotel bill on Monday lie discovered that they, had disappeared. Some English bank notes, which were in the case, were not touched.
