PAPAKURA, Thursday.
The Papakura Orphans' Club held a splendid evening in the Paragon Theatre last evening, when the official visitors were the president and executive of the Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans' Clubs. VicePresident Bro. • S. L. Anderson presided and extended a •warm welcome to " the visitors, which was replied to by President Bro.;Lawson. ' _ . / A first class programme was provided by the club's orchestra and the following performers:—Bros. Elton Black, Dan Flood, Rex Yates, C. Hunter, J. Cooper, Attwater, Hill, Calvert and McMichall.
