DETROIT, August 14.

Charles Thomas and his wife had a quarrel which ended in divorce, but what with alimony and drought, Thomas had such a lean time of it he could not afford a bath-tub in his new home.

So when former wife was not present, he regularly sneaked into his old home for a comfortable bath. ' His wife learned of his visits and appealed to the Court, which issued a restraining order prohibiting his taking a bath —in his former residence, anyway.
