This took the form of a Sunday breakfast at the Honolulu Country Club. The 66 graduates present discussed the possibility of closer co-operation within the federation's Pacific group.
Y.W.C.A. representatives are also holding group meetings.. The programme of the conference for the second week includes the following papers: —One by Dr. Ethel Osborne on industrial hygiene and one by Mrs. Bertha Landes, formerly Mayor of Seattle, Washington, on municipal social service.
A party was given on Saturday in the grounds of the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Lowrey, where picturesque groups of Hawaiians, Filipinos, Chinese, and Japanese children were seen in national ceremonial dances.
