COTTON MILL.
LANCASHIRE TO AUSTRALIA
LONDON, August 14.
The £10,000 plant of 7000 ring spindles and complementary machinery, totalling 230 tons, formerly the equipment of the Albert Mill, belonging to David Healy and Son, Limited, of Heywood, Lancashire, is being shipped to equip an Australian cotton, mill.
The Healeys erected the plant in 1925, but it never worked more than three months. The first consignment of 30 tons has left for Melbourne.
