FORTUNE "GOES WEST."

IMPERTURBABLE GAMBLER,

PARIS, August 18. Onlookers in the chemin de fer room at the Deauville Casino became almost hysterical watching the operations of a British gambler believed to have gone there from Quebec. Beginning at midnight the man lost £3200 in two hours. He continued to play, but his luck never changed and he lost £9600 in a single hand and £80,000 in the course of the evening. The spectators were amazed at the gambler's almost unbelievable "mpertarbability.
