WAIUKU CLTJB. Playing on Saturday in the semi-final of the Waiuku Golf Club's senior championship, Howden beat Forbes. G arid 4. Howden will play Ohlson in the final, which will comprise a matcli over 36 holes, nest Saturday. In the third round for the junior championship Jerram beat Hamilton, 5 up; Plavell beat Hill, 2 up; and Munro beat Koscoe, 4 and 2.

Hutchison (4) went round in 72 nett. 4 under bogey, and J. Corbett (12) returned the same nett score. The winner was found -with the toss qf a coin, Hutchison securing the honour.
