ENJOYABLE DANCE.
On Saturday evening Melvern's basketball team lielcl a successful dance at the Penrith tearooms, which were gaily decorated in the club colours, blue and gold. During the evening Monte Carlo and a spot waltz were held, and novelties, balloons, etc., distributed. Among those present were: The committee, Misses Myrtle Rhodes, wearing pink embossed georgette and crepe de chine; Mavis Pvhodes, mauve taffeta; Joyce Codd, midnight blue georgette; Glady Trevethick, Nile green ring velvet and georgette; Elva Clougli, leiuon embossed chenille georgette;' Eunice' Dowdle, sea green taffeta; Maisie Dowdle, turqijoise blue embossed chenille georgette. Among others present were:—Misses G. Baxter, who wore apricot georgette; V. Smith, almond green satin beaute and diamante; J. Watts, peacock blue satin; J. Albrighton, flame crepe de chine; U.
