DIVORCE GRANTED.
WIFE'S BETITTON WITHDRAWN
HUSBAND'S ANSWER SUCCEEDS.
. On the grounds of desertion and misconduct, Edward Frederick Charles Wright (Mr. Thomson) obtained a divorce this morning at the Supreme Court from Olive Wright (Mr. Fennell). The wife had filed a petition on the ground of desertion, but the husband filed an answer alleging desertion and adultery. The wife's petition was withdrawn and the husband proceeded on his petition, the action being undefended.
Wright, a driver, said lie married respondent in 1910 and there were three children of the marriage. In June, 1921, the wife left him and from subsequent inquiries he made he learned that she was living in Burnley Terrace, Mount Albert, with a man named John Bellamy. Petitioner had not lived with respondent since they parted in 1921. Two witnesses gave evidence that #iey had known respondent for four years. She lived with John Bellamy and they had always known her as Mrs. Bellamy.
