DIXIELAND.
At the popular cabaret-by-the-eea there was a large attendance of enthusiastic dancers on Saturday night. . Brilliant lighting-effects and novel dTJcorjitions added to- the scene of brightness, and a number of distinctive frocks were worn. Spirited music, excellently played, was appreciated. Among those present were:—Mesdames W. Rawlinson, who wore a frock of cherry coloured net and lace; H. Richards, green moire; R. Wylie, palest pink georgette and lace; B. J. Robertson, rose georgette, with black embroideries; S. Gillies, cherry coloured chenille; J. Carter, fiame taffeta, shot with gold; V. James, black net, with velvet flowers running from shoulder; H. Knight, frock of floral chenille; Cooper, black georgette, with embroideries; R. Smith, jet net, with full skirt; E. Heighway, "black and flame floral taffeta; Albert Neville, white georgette, with silver sequins; H. Chambers, black georgette, with scarlet relief; Misses Molly Bailey, pastel green, with rhinestone girdle; Olive Bicker ton, cameo pink georgette frock; Olga MacDuff, frock of black ring velvet; J. Robertson, black georgette and net; Thomas, gold ring velvet, witll black flowers; J., Jackson, deep cream lace over satin; Betty Jackman, briar rose lace; Gwen Court, spring green moire and net; Mona Craig, black moire velvet, trimmed with white flowers; Beachie Hardie-Neil, champagne and flame floral georgette; Hutter, green georgette, with headed' embroideries; Gwen Kingston, black georgette, beaded in black, with scarlet flowers; Ailsa Lewis, shell pink net frock; H. Wilson, black georgette, with green flowers; Lyall, pink crepe de chine; Molly Atkins, pale green georgette and lace; Olga Hansen, black and red floral georgette; Lovegrove, sunglow moire velvet
and georgette; M. Heard, larkspur blue taffeta; Airini Simpson, floral taffeta in rose shade; T. Thompson, sunset shaded taffeta frock; Winters, lavender chiffon, with silver; Wynyard, gold la/me and georgette; A. Menzies, daffodil yellow satin frock; M.
