French Atlantic Flyers Picked Up by Steamer. MAILS SAVED. . , . (Received 10 a.m.) RIO DE JANEIRO, July 9. Engine trouble forced M. Jean Mernioz, who set off yesterday to fly from Natal (Brazil) to Dakar (Africa), to alight on the sea beside the steamship Phocee, 300 miles from Dakar. M. Mermoz, his tAVO companions ,and the mail they carried Avere saved.-
