PETROL TAX.
MOTORISTS TO STATE VIEWS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. _ "The Government has not considered the question of increasing the petrol tax, but the motorists will be given an opportunity of placing their views before us if they wish to., do so," said the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, this morning. "It should not be taken for granted that there will be an increase in the petrol tax.
