Lancashire Side.

(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 3. Following are the county cricket results: —
Essex: First innings, 257 (Gover six for 74); second inings, tw,o for 173 (O'Connor 74 not out). , Surrey: First innings, 305 (Ducat 65', Gregory 94 not out). Surrey won on the first innings.
Middlesex: First innings, 182; second innings, 192. Derby: First innings, 282 (Townseifd 141); second innings, three for 93. Derby won by seven wickets.
Worcester: First innings, 141 (Gibbons 61); second innings, 102 (Freeman four for 29; Hardinge four for 25). Kent: First innings, 217 (Root nine for 81); second innings, four for 30. Kent won by six wickets.
Warwick: First innings, 275 (Smith 132, Sinfield five for 70); second innings, three for 133. Gloucester: First innings, 200 (Dipper 73, Paine five for 60). Warwick won on the first innings.
Nottingham: First innings, 322 (Whysail 82, Lilley 94); second innings, seven for 228, declared (Whysall 74). Lancashire: First innings, 317 (Watson 59).; second innings, one for 79. Nottingham won on the first- innings.
Leicester: First innings, 113 (Macaulay four for 48, Verity four for 45); second innings, 43 (Macaulay six for 11, Verity four for 15). Yorkshire: First innings, seven for 319, declared (Mitchell 136,- Barber 64, Armstrong four for 25). Yorkshire won by an innings and 163 runs.
Northants: First innings, 162 (Cook five for 24); second innings, 43 (Wensley six for 26, Cook four for 12). Sussex: First innings, 84 (Thomas five for 22, Matthews four for 47); second innings, 61 (Thomas five for 39, Matthews five for 18). Northants won by 60 runs.
Oxford: First innings, 259 (Kingsley 75); second innings, five for 158, declared (Patoudi 86). Glamorgan: First innings, 128 (Nevison four for 15); second innings, 172 (Hill-Wood six for 42). Oxford won by 117 runs.
