Confirmation Has been received by the Harbin Consular authorities regarding peasant mutinies in. the' vicinity of Vladivostok, /which are rep'orted to be" increasingly serious. Russky Island, in Vladivostock Harbour, is occupied by the mutineers.

The crews of the Soviet gunboats Varovsky, Krassny and Vimpel revolted and liberated several thousand ' shore prisoners. Telephone and telegraph communication between Harbin and Vladivostock was interrupted.

Passengers arriving at Harbin declare that the peasant uprisings in the villages and maritime provinces are spreading. The Soviet' authorities are panicky, owing to their inability to suppress the insurrection.

A message from Tokyo -state's that the vernacular Press reports an alarming uprising of Korean Communists, who are terrorising the Chientao and Manchuriah border.
