TWO PEOPLE INJURED.
JERVOIS ROAD COLLISION.
With a crash that startled the nearby residents, two motor cars collided at the intersection of Jervois Road and Hamilton Road about six o'clock last evening. Two people were injured, though not seriously. They were Miss Irene Jones, of 192, Jervois Road, cuts to the face, and the driver of the car in which Miss Jones was a passenger, Mr.' Roland George Thompson, of 17, Hamilton Road, head" in juries. Both were attended to by Dr. V, F. Usher at the surgery of Dr. H. F. Holmden, and were taken to the hospital by a hospital ambulance. The car which Mr. Thompson was driving was turning round the centre pole to go into Hamilton Road, and the other was going in the direction of the city. The collision followed, and both vehicles were turned completely round. Mr. Thompson's sedan came to rest on the pavement of Hamilton Road, with one side smashed in. The front of the other car was damaged. Though the driver was not hurt his passenger was cut with flying glass from the- windscreen.
