There has been no cloud dropped down To hide you from wild birds, And winds that stray across you. Tide after tide uncovers the brown rocks. And all the dark night through, the line Of white wave 9 breaks endlessly, And the high, cliffs hold its echoes. It is only I who am gotf j . , Turned my back on ageless hills, Trees, rocks, cloud shadows on the sea, And time that passes in tireless holiday, it in I who have come back, and left.
