PARISHIONERS' MEETINGS

ST. BARNABAS' CHURCH. A large number of parishioners attended the annual meeting of St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, the vicar, the Rev. F. G. Harvie, presiding. A satisfactory position was shown by the report and balance-sheet. The offertories for the year totalled £401, which was a small increase. The sustentation fund stood at £251. A credit balance of £74 was shown to start the new year. The church building fund stood at £22(59, with a further contingent asset of £600. The following officers were appointed: Vicar's warden, Mr. W. M. Rayner; people's warden, Mr. S. Harris; vestry, Messrs. H. C. Aickin, J. Evans, A. J. Fielder. B. C. Housley, H. C. Robinson, H. Robinson, L. Smith, C. E. Spittall, S. von Sturmer, and J. T. Williams; sidesmen, Messrs. J. W. Coney, S. Horrox, J. E. Hughes. E. Lane, L. Long, D. Robinson and E. H. Sealy.
