Generous as has been the response to the call of the "Auckland Star" for war stories, the demand ie unsatisfied. Again we offer a prize of £1 for the best story next week and 5/ for each other story published. The next batch will bo published to-morrow in our magazine section. The- instant success of the stories and droll incidents published weekly from the pens of men who were with the Anzacs on Gallipoli or in France proved their popular appeal. One of the most eagerly-read pagee of the magazine section is that containing Ihe selection of these war stories, and the verdict is a demand for more. Do not hesitate to send yours in because you may think little of it. The most unassuming yan{ on the tongue may be the prize-winner when put to the pen and ink test, So give yours a chance to blossom with the rest of the stories too good to go unt'iSd to our readers.
