CHRISTCHURCH "FIREBUGS." COMMISSIONER SILENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Commissioner of Police, Mr. W. B. Mdlveney, is still uncommunicative about the payment of the £250 reward offered by the New Zealand Underwriters 5 Association for evidence leading to the conviction of the "firebugs" who caused such havoc in Christchurch. When questioned about the distribution of the reward, Mr. Mcllveney's reply was brief. It was, "I have nothing so say."
