THREE MEN SEi, lENGED. BEGGING MEALS IN COUNTRY. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) TAURANGA, this day. Three youn nr men, Thomas Goodson, Thomas and William Halliday, were charged in the Police Court this morning with being idle and disorderly and having no visible means of support. ■ Goodson was also charged with stealincr a bicycle at Hamilton, Thomas Halliday with stealing a.' bicycle at Rotorua, and William Halliday with stealing a bicvele at Cambridge. ■ j The police stated in evidence that the three accused were riding bicycles round the district, begging meals. _ 411 were convicted and discharged on the first count, and for the bicycle theftseach of the three accused was sentenced to one month in Mount Eden gaol.
