EXECUTIVE ELECTEDI STUDENTS AWARDED PRIZES. ' (By Telegraph-—Own Correspondent.) ' WAIHI, this day. At the annual meeting of the Waihi. School of Mines, the following officers were appointed:—PatVons, Messrs.'A. M. Samuel, M.P. for Thames, C. E. Macro illan, M.P. for Taura'nga; president, Mr. W. H. Johnston; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. L. Gilmour and M. F. Hazard; members of council, Messrs. W. Morrison, C. Kingsford, J. G. Cornes, W..-SL. Dutton, T. Wattcrs and W. Goldsworthy; students' representatives, Messrs. 0. Bell and H. Chilvers; Waikino representative, Mr. R. Wynne; auditor, Mr. W. M. Wallniitt. The following students who gained certificates, were awarded prizes:— Messrs. 0. Bell, senior electrical engineering; B. Lowry, junior electrical engineering; N". Hazard, junior electrical chemistry; N. R. Wynn, junior electrical engineering; T. Jensen, senior electrical chemistry; H. Rollinson, metallurgy; J. Keoghan, fire assaying; J. G. Banks, fire assaying; R. Bell, D. Nisbit; R. J. White and W. Pascoe, junior mathematics.
