MEN SEPARATED IN BUSH.
EACH SEARCHES FOR OTHER. ; (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON,,Tuesday. Two. prospectors, William Paul Brown and John Scott Thompson, of Glen Afton, who set out on Saturday -to explore'the ranges between Whatawhata and Raglan, became separated on Sunday; evening, and each believed the othpr had lost liinigeif in the bush. Thompson waited until the morning, but as his mate did not appear he: commenced to search for him; 'Being unsuccessful, he returned' to.'Huntjy,;' and secured'the assistance of the' police. Meanwhile, : Brown had arrived at ia' settler's house near. Whatawhata, after spending Sunday, night in the bush. Thinking that Thompson had been lost, lie returned into' the. bush this morning with assistance and commenced to searqh for him. Brown was subsequently found and he discontinued - the , search after being assured of his companion's safety.
