THEFT OF CAR.
A light English car (No. 16-288), the property of Mr. Ewen Clarke, of 14, Shipherd Avenue, Epsom, was stolen from the Civic Square last evening. Mr. Clarke parked the machine at 7.30 o'clock and it was gone ;when he returned for it at 12.10 a.m. The police have been informed about the matter.
