STRIKERS WARNED.

I Permanent Loss of Employment if Work is Refused. MANY MINERS OFFER. . (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Mac Donald, chairman of the Northern Collieries' Association, warns the strikers who now refuse to work that they will lose their employment permanently. The proprietors of the northern collieries state that numerous applications from miners for work in the idle pits are still being received. The owners are to meet to-day to decide which pits shall be reopened. Former employees have been given an assurance that they will not be displaced in the event of the miners' organisations changing their present, hostilo attitude.

At ono large colliery 428 men have applied for work.
