LAND FOR SETTLEMENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The Lands Department has thrown open for settlement seven sections of the Marsden reserve, 011 the One Tree Point Road. The area is over 700 acres, of good reclaimed land, the first fruits of the large drainage scheme which its now fast approaching completion.
