THE MAUNGAKIEKIB CLUB. The Maungakiekie Golf Club will officially 'yen its season at the Titirangi links on Saturday, when mixed bopey foursomes will be played. This match is open to all playing members, irrespective of which links they play at. • The president. Mr. W. .T. A. Thomson, will drive the first ball at 12.15 p.m. The additions and alterations to the clubhouse have now been completed and should add greatlv to the comfort of players this season. The links are also in very good order. WAITEMATA CLUB. The twentv-sixth annual general meeting of the Waitemata Golf Club (Inc.) was held last evening at the. Bowline Club pavilion. Devonport. THe- committee's report showed a membership of 63. while the finance of the club is tery satisfactory. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Hon. B. W. Alison, M.L.C.; president F. P. McVeay: vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Hislop. W. 13. L. Napier, E. Aldridge, W. R. Wilson.' D. Harvey and A. F. Griffith: club captain. S. MeLeod; vice-captain, J. Hogan; hon. secretary, X. R. Chapman; assistant" secretary. T. O'Connell; treasurer, G. Jackson: committee, Messrs. Downer, Lansbein. Muskett. Rae and Walsh; ground superintendent, F. Warren. The opening day was fixed for Saturday. April 26, with the usual mixed foursomes.
