"All the latest in pictures and reading—all the time" aptly describes the "N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review." This week's number is well up to standard, packed from cover to cover with the brightest photographs illustrating the latest sporting and topical events. The meetings of the Wellington, Ohinemuri, and Franklin Racing Clubs are covered in an array of strikinglv reproduced photographs. Devotees' of the turf in Hawke's Bay photographed at the Napier Park autumn meeting grace the centre double pages. Trotting is represented by snaps of the Manawatu Club's meeting. Our photographer attended the Ngaruawahia Regatta, securing a splendid series of lively pictures. Another outstanding page is filled with photographs of the N.Z. Railway Officers' picnic at Motutapu. The coloured offset section is adorned with an original frontispiece of America's champion cow-girl, a pa£e of sport scenes amid the snow, a series of current American events and a set of fashion novelties. A wide field is covered by the illustrations in the miscellaneous division, embracing such items, as motor racing at Mangere, France v. Ireland Rugby match, aerial views of Sydney, Cambridge University sports, society weddings, Sharkey v. Scott contest, departure of Aorangi.
