"FRESHER" SOCIAL.
. A successful function was held in the University College Hall on Saturday evening when the social committee gave a musical evening) followed by a -dance, to the "freshers." Professor Worley welcomed the students on behalf of the board and spoke on the benefits the pupils derived from the college. Mr. 35". G. Wilson, on behalf of the Students' Association, -also welcomed the students. Orchestral selection were played by the college orchestra and vocal items were by the men's choir, the Tudor orchestra supplying the dance music.
