DIXIELAND.

Dixieland proved a very popular rendezvous on Saturday evening and a most enjoyable time was spent by the large throng of dancers. BIRTHDAY PARTY. Mrs. Gibson, of Grey Lynn," entertained 100 guests in the Gaiety Hall, Surrey Croscent, on Wednesday evening, in honour of the coming of age of her niece, Miss Lenna Buckland. The table was beautifully decorated with pink and white roses, and a two-decker cake. A most enjoyable evening was spent in dancing and games.
