LAND TAXATION.
Alterations in Australian System. GOLF COURSES TO BE LIABLE. (Received 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, this day. Several alterations in the assessment land taxation are proposed by the bill which has been introduced in the House of Representatives. One effect will be to render golf courses liable to land taxation. Previously sports grounds, but no racecourses, had been exempt.
