PUBLIC BEQUESTS.
KAIKOHE MAN'S WILL. THREE LEGACIES OP £1000 EACH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this clay. The provisions of the will of the late Mr. J. J. Lindvalrt, of Kaikohe, who died on March 2, have been made available for publication by the Public Trustee. The will provides for the following legacies: £1000 for the purchase and upkeep of a public recreation ground for Kaikohe; £1000 for the purchase, furnishing, equipment and upkeep of a public library at Kaikohe; £1000 for Dr. Barnardo's Homes, London. The residue of the estate is to be divided into two equal parts. One of such parts is to be given to the Salvation Army of Xew Zealand, to be applied towards the maintenance and benefit of orphan children under the control of the Salvation Army. The other part is given in equal shares to the Anglican Bishop of Auckland district, the Methodist Home Mission Fund, Auckland, and the Presbyterian Social Service Association, to be i used for the maintenance and benefit of orphan children. It is likely that there will be ample in the estate to provide for the three legacies; the amount available for the residuary beneficiaries will depend entirely on the realisation of the assets.
