"FORK" LUNCHEONS.
A new kind of luncheon has been inaugurated. It is eaten standing, and the only utensil provided is a fork. It promises to be. the forerunner of a club for British business hosts and hostesses and also, later, of a "Fork" restaurant. "The members have no time for the oldfashioned course at which one drank red wine and afterwards felt unable >to do a stroke of work or even engage in interesting recreation for the rest of the afternoon," says one of the promoters.
