Ideal Day On River.—Maiden Fours To North Shore. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Ideal weather prevailed for the "Wanganui regatta this afternoon. Results are as follow: — ~ 1 Maiden Fours, open.—.North Shore 1, Aramolio Boating Club 2, Wanganui Rowing Club IS. Won by one and a quarter lengths, after a good sprinting finish. Maiden Single Scuils. — R. Lampitt (Union) 3, R. Percy (Aramoho) 2, A. b. Krame (Avon) 3. Won by two lengtrs. Frame was handicapped through having to row in a strange boat. Youth Fours.—North Shore (Horn, McCallum, Cotes, Oliver) 1, Wanganui Rowing Club 2, Union No. 1 J. 011 by lengths, half a length between second and Fours.—Aramoho (Holmes, McKay, Edwards, Heath) 1, Wanganui Union 2. Aramoho led all the way and won by five lengths. Junior Doubles.—Union Boat Club 1, Aramobo 2, Wanganui 3. Won by two lGiicths. Maiden Fours, Lightweight.—Aramoho No, 2 1, Union 2, Aramoho No. 3 3. Won Four, best and best.—West End (Felton, Bloxam, "Wright, and McFarlane) 1, Union 2, Clifton 3. Won by five lengths.
