NEW' AEROPLANE.

FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICE. SIMMONDS-SPARTAN ARRIVES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, Friday. Piloted by Mr. J. M. Buckeridge, who had with him Mr. H. M. Maekie, the second Simmonds-Spartan biplane imported by the New Zealand Airways Company arrived from Sockburn at the Green Island aerodrome this afternoon. The two biplanes will be stationed in Dunedin, and they will form the nucleus of a fleet with which the company proposes to run a commercial air service between the principal towns of New Zealand. Both machines will fly to Sockburn on Friday to - participate in an aerial pageant. Mr. Buckeridge will fly ' the larger machine, and Miss Aroha Clifford, of Christchurch, is expected to arrive on Wednesday to pilot the smaller 'plane.
