Ferkins played slightly more accurate tennis than Parker. In the first set Parker developed arm trouble, and Ferkins had an easy win. In the boys' doubles the RobertsonFerkins combination always held Lees and Lees, who did not play accurately at any stage. They attempted too much hitting. The winners led live-love in the first set, but lost the lead through rasliness on the part of Ferkins, who had to be restrained by his partner. The second set was a walk-over, both boys playing very accurately. Sandrall was in patchy form in his mixed doubles, but Miss MacFarlane's steadiness pulled them through. Wilson dominated the match against Parker and Miss Andrew, and had an easy win.
