OIL STRUCK.
QUEENSLAND BORE.
(Received 10.30 ajn.) BRISBANE, this day. Oil-bearing sand has been struck at Longreach at a bore depth of 3227 feet. The prospects of getting oil in payable and commercial quantities are considered to be bright.
