Albert Edward v ■ Simpson, a Idrry driver, to-day admitted in the Police Court that he had been found in charge •of a lorry ,- at an . early hour in the morning while in a state of intoxication. the police said that accused was convicted of a similar offence in Auckland on May 18. 1927, and his license was/ then cancelled for two years. The magistrate- said the offence was serious and accused did not appeal* to take nptice of the previous warning. Accused was fined £15 and his license cancelled and he was declared unfit to told a license for two years.
