DISORDERLY CONDUCT.

SPAT ON CONSTABLE. "He spat in a constable's face; then he became abusive, and wanted, to fight and spit on everybody. He was very drunk." This was the description given of the conduct of John Holmes, aged 49, a labourer, by Sub-Inspector McCarthy in the Police Court this morning. Holmes was charged with being disorderly while drunk, and he was fined £2, in default 14 days in gaol.
