CHRISTMAS NO EXCUSE.

INTOXICATED MOTORISTS. TWO MORE LOSE LICENSES. JUSTICES REFUSE LENIENCY. (By Telegrapb.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Two more motorists to-day lost their driving licenses for twelve months. George Inglis, a marine engineer, was one, and he was also fined £10; Alfred G. Y. Baxter, the other, was also fined £20. Baxter's condition was discovered as the result of his car colliding with another car. The justices on the Bench remarked, on the plea being made that some consideration should be extended to the season and its festivities, that drink and motoring should not go together; drivers should leave it alone.
