WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

ORGAN—KIRKWOOD.. A wedding was solemnised at Christ Church, Wlmngarei, on November 27, when Dulcie Muriel, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Kirkwood, of Auckland, a niece of Mrs. J. L. Cameron, of San Francisco, U.S.A., was married to Mervyn Charles, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Organ, of Whaligarei. The Rev. 11. T. Steele officiated. The bride altered the church with her uncle, Mr. J. Batchelor, wearing a graceful frock of white satin with tight fitting bodice and double skirt of uneven hem line, line-edged with tulle. The silk embroidered veil, caught with a coronet of orange blossoms, formed the train. Her bouquet was of Christmas lilies and white carnations, tied with white satin ribbon. Miss Ena Organ, sister of the bridegroom, acted as chief; , 'bridesmaid, wearing a dainty frock of mauve taffeta with uneven hemline and gold crinoline hat. Miss Norma Wilson, of Taupiri, cousin of the bride, wore a pretty frock of lemon satin and georgette with lemon hat. Bota carried bouquets to toiie. Little Joan Batchelor made a dainty flower girl in a pale pink frilled crepe de chine frock and carried a pink posy. The bridegroom was assisted by Mr. R. F. Williamson as best man, while the duties of groomsman were carried out by Mr. Ray Organ. After the ceremony the reception was held at the Ritz. Mrs. Batchelor received the guests in a frock of fawn crepe de chine, with hat to tone. The bridegroom's mother wore a frock of black silk repp and black liat, and carried a posy of mauve and violet. Mrs. J. Mclnnes. aunt of the bridegroom, wore a navy frock, black satin coat and navy hat.
