■ WAIOTAPU IN PORT.

ULIMAROA'S DEPARTURE

POSTPONED

All the overseas vessels now in port will remain here until the end of the week, as the holidays will interrupt cargo work. The Tofua is to sail f or Suva on Saturday, and the departure of the Ulimaroa for Sydney has also been postponed to that day. The Waiotapu, which arrived f rom the Pacific Coast this morning, and the Hermlnius, which is discharging Australian hardwood, are expected to sail for Wellington at the end of the week.

The next overseas vessel due at Auckland is the Golden Cross from Los Angeles on Thursday, followed by the Saltersgate from Peru the following day. The R.M.m.s. Aorangi is due from Vancouver on Sunday and sails for Sydney on Monday.

En route from Leith to Auckland, Captain A. F. Watchlin's new motor vessel Port Waikato is reported to have arrived at Gibraltar last Saturday. The steamer Callandia left for sea yesterday afternoon. For the past week she has been awaiting orders, but these will be forwarded by wireless. ROTORUA COMING. The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Rotorua was dispatched from Liverpool last Saturday with passengers, i mails and cargo for Auckland, where she is due on January 26. Her other ports of discharge are Napier, Wellington, Lytteli ton and Dunedin.

REMUERA AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera, which was dispatcneu from Napier on November 13, is reported to have arrived at London last Sunday. HERMINIUS TO SAIL. To put out the remainder of her cargo of Australian hardwood, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Herminius is to sail on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Duuedin. PIAKO REPORTED. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Piako, which left Auckland on November 27 for Halifax and London, is reported to have arrived at Panama last Saturday. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless ! station to-night and Wednesday : Salter s Gate, Golden Cross, Voco, Port Purie, Port Hardie, Callandia, Armadale, Gretason. ULIMAROA IN PORT. With passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, the Huddart, Parker steamer Uliniaroa arrived at Auckland to-day and berthed at the Prince's wharf. Owing to the Christmas holidays intervening, her departure for Sydney lias been postponed to 11 a.m. on Saturday. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Kairanga leaves Westport at 5 p.m. to-day for Auckland. The Wingatui has been delayed by rain at Lyttelton, and cannot leave there before Friday for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. The Ivaitoke was to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Auckland. AORANGI RADIOS. A radio from the Union Company's R.11.m.5. Aorangi, en route from Vancouver to Sydney, states that she expects to arrive at Suva at 10 a.m. on Thursday. She is scheduled to clear Suva for Auckland at 4 p.m. Thursday, and is due here on Sunday next, resuming her voyage to Sydney at 10 p.m. the following day. WAIOTAPU IN PORT. Arriving at Auckland this morning, the Union Company's steamer Waiotapu berthed at the Queen's wharf to commence discharge of her cargo from the Pacific Coast. After loading at Vancouver, Ocean Falls, San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Waiotapu sailed from the last-named port on November 25. She arrived at Papeete on December 10 and resumed her voyage two days later. Head winds encountered during the last three days of the voyage delayed her arrival by a day. The Waiotapu is to sail on Saturday for Wellington and Australian ports to complete discharge.
