ANOTHER ARREST
Man Charged With Murder After Affray. . UNDERWORLD SHOOTING. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Police yesterday arrested James Devine on the charge of shooting Bernard Dalton. Devine was recently acquitted of the murder of "Gunman" G*ffney, who was shot during a gang ftiid at Devine's ic;:ie at Maroubra. There was a violent underworld affray at' Surrey Hills on November 10. A tosillade of revolver shots resulted in Bernard Dalton being shot dead. His companion, Walter Tomlinson, was shot in the chest. Edward Brady received a Pallet wound in his right hand. Neither prady nor Tomlinson would give the police My clue to their assailants. The£ simply *aia.that a dispute arose over the second feagTie football match which was played in England on November 9. Yesterday M °thcr message stated that the police had. arrested a man named Francis Green and pother man. Green was charged with the fflnrder o f Dalton, and the other man "ittt vagrancy.
