COMMERCIAL AVIATION.
TAURANGA WANTS STATION. A meeting convened by the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Bobbins, was held at Tauranga on Tuesday night to consider the position of the borough in relation to the question of commercial aviation. It was resolved: "That in the opinion ■ofrthe meeting it is desirable that all possible information should be obtained with a view to the establishment of an aviation station at Tauranga." A committee was appointed to ■ secure the desired information to submit to a further public meeting. Tauranga is in the direct line of any service that might be established between Wellington and Auckland via Napier and Gisborne.
