DAMAGES AWARDED.
INJURED MOTOR CYCLIST. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Monday. John Ernest Hansen, dairy factory employee, was to-day awarded £397 damages against Nathaniel Stafford, a Manawaru farmer.
Hansen's motor, cycle and Stafford's car collided, and Hansen was seriously injured. He claimed £000 general and £122 special damages. The Supreme Court jury found that defendant had been negligent, and awarded plaintiff special damages for the amount claimed and £275 as general damages.
