GRAVE CHARGES.

PIANO TEACHER ARRESTED.

REMANDED AT POLICE COURT,

Sydney Herbert Norman, aged 38, a pianoforte teacher, who was arrested by Detective Stevenson, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court this morning on three charges of indecently assaulting boys of seven and nine years and an attempted unnatural offence on a boy of 14£ years. > On the application of Detective-Ser-geant Bickerdike, Norman was remanded to appear again on November 14. The offences were alleged to have been committed at Onehuriga on August 30, 'June 7 and July 1. Bail was not asked for.
