THE LINSEED MARKET. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated November 4, from Messrs. Landale and Clark, Ltd., Calcutta, with reference to the linseed market: —"We quote £22 5/ for linseed per ton net, c. and f., Sydney, for immediate shipment. The market is steady/' ■ '•'•" '■ ' ; PRICES FOR METALS. LONDON, November 4. (Quotations on October 31 in parentheses.) Copper.—Spot, £70 8/9 (£7l 1/3); three months, £70 (£7O 18/9). Electrolytic Copper.—Spot, £83 10/ (£B3 10/); three months, £84 (£34). Wire Bars.—Spot, £84 (£B4). Lead.-Spot, £22 3/9 (£22 10/); three months, £23 5/ (£22 7/6). Spelter.—Spot, £21 17/6 (£22 1/3)three months, £.22 7/6 (£22 10/). Tin-Spot. £181 17/6 (£lB9 2/6)- three months, £185 2/6 (£192 2/6) Silver-Standard. 22 15-16 d (23d) per ounce; fine, 24% d (24 3-16 d).
